Revision preview-2026-10-17.2 · [EFFECTIVE DATE — NOT SET]

Policy preview · not yet effective

Business details and launch terms are still being finalized. Bracketed placeholders show what remains to be completed. These drafts do not record your agreement or create a new refund promise.

01

Welcome to KitCubby

KitCubby is operated by [BUSINESS LEGAL NAME], reachable at [SUPPORT EMAIL — TO BE CONFIRMED] and [BUSINESS CONTACT ADDRESS]. It is a place to discover, publish, and use independent tools. These terms describe the proposed rules for using KitCubby once they take effect.

The contracting seller for paid tools and the allocation of marketplace responsibilities will be identified here and before purchase: [SELLER OF RECORD AND MARKETPLACE CONTRACT MODEL]. A payment processor or payout arrangement alone does not determine who the legal seller is.

02

Your account

Sign in with ChatGPT to publish tools, save favorites, or buy paid tools. Keep access to your sign-in account secure, use accurate information, and contact us if you believe someone is using it without permission. Do not impersonate another person or use accounts to evade moderation.

Proposed launch eligibility: users must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. If you act for an organization, you must have authority to do so. [CONFIRM ELIGIBILITY AND AGE-ASSURANCE APPROACH BEFORE LAUNCH].

03

What KitCubby currently hosts

The current service hosts browser tools built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Creators can upload a self-contained HTML file or a supported static project folder. Python, Java, and other server backends are not currently supported; this is a present product limit, not a permanent restriction on future formats.

Hosted tools run with restrictions on external scripts, requests, forms, and embedded pages. Read each listing’s browser requirements and limitations before purchase. KitCubby does not promise that every application will run unchanged.

04

Using a creation

Creators retain ownership of their creations. Unless a listing clearly provides a different valid license before purchase, the proposed default is a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the tool for your own personal or internal business purposes. Buying access does not transfer the creator’s copyright or authorize reselling, redistributing, or offering the tool as your own service. Rights granted by an applicable open-source license or mandatory law remain unaffected.

A paid listing provides access through your signed-in account after payment is confirmed. A one-time price is not a promise of lifetime hosting, future features, or ongoing custom support. Any promised access period, compatibility, updates, or additional license terms must be clearly disclosed before purchase and honored. No change to these terms removes rights attached to an earlier purchase.

05

Prices, payments, and refunds

Listings currently use free access or a one-time price in US dollars. Review the final amount and any applicable taxes before paying. Stripe processes payments and seller payout setup. Sandbox payments are tests and do not create a real-money purchase or carry over to live access.

The proposed Refund policy applies to paid purchases. Refunds and consumer remedies required by law take priority over any shorter voluntary window. KitCubby must disclose the final seller identity, fees, taxes, and refund terms before live checkout is enabled.

06

Responsible use

  • Do not upload malware, phishing pages, hidden tracking, credential theft, illegal content, or material that infringes another person’s rights.
  • Do not bypass access controls, scrape private user data, interfere with other users, or misrepresent results or endorsements.
  • Do not use tools for emergencies or as the sole basis for high-stakes medical, legal, financial, or safety decisions. A listing on KitCubby is not an endorsement or certification.
  • Keep your own source files and appropriate backups. Do not place secrets or confidential records in a public listing or preview.
07

Moderation, availability, and complaints

We may restrict tools or accounts to investigate abuse, security issues, rights complaints, or violations. A blocked tool can become unavailable to existing buyers as well as its creator. We will review affected purchases and applicable refund rights. Contact [SUPPORT EMAIL — TO BE CONFIRMED] with the listing or account identifier to request review of a moderation decision.

Where appropriate and legally permitted, we intend to provide an explanation and a chance to respond. Urgent restrictions may be necessary before notice. Ordinary unpublishing makes a tool a draft; it does not by itself erase its source or existing paid access. Deletion requests and any applicable retention duties require separate handling.

08

Service limits and legal rights

Independent tools may contain errors. Review outputs and use reasonable care. KitCubby cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or a particular result, but this does not exclude obligations, guarantees, or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

[JURISDICTION-SPECIFIC LIABILITY, DISPUTE RESOLUTION, AND GOVERNING-LAW TERMS TO BE REVIEWED]. No arbitration clause, class-action waiver, or liability cap is adopted by this draft. Any final dispute provision must preserve mandatory consumer protections.

09

Changes and contact

We will identify the effective date of final terms and explain material changes before they apply where required. Contact [SUPPORT EMAIL — TO BE CONFIRMED] with questions or complaints. These draft pages do not activate terms, record agreement, or replace any currently applicable service-provider terms.
