Policy preview · not yet effective

Business details and launch terms are still being finalized. Bracketed placeholders show what remains to be completed. These drafts do not record your agreement or create a new refund promise.

01

Build something useful. Describe it honestly.

Explain what your tool does, who it is for, supported browsers, important limitations, and what a buyer receives. Use an accurate title, description, price, and preview. Clearly label sample data, simulations, and experimental features. Do not promise guaranteed earnings, investment returns, job offers, or other results you cannot substantiate.

Preview images may be generated from your HTML and may not reproduce every feature accurately. Inspect the cover before publishing and replace it when it could mislead buyers.

02

Publish work you have the right to share

You retain ownership of your original creation. You must have permission to distribute all included code, images, fonts, data, and other assets. Follow third-party licenses, preserve required notices, and do not sell copied work as your own.

Proposed hosting license: you grant KitCubby a non-exclusive license to store, reproduce, process, display, and deliver your submitted tool and its preview as needed to operate and promote its listing. This does not transfer ownership. Any continued delivery after unpublishing is limited to honoring existing purchases and other lawful obligations; final termination and retention terms must be disclosed.

03

Current technical limits

  • Supported today: browser-ready HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. A project folder is packaged into a self-contained HTML tool; KitCubby is not a general code build service.
  • The uploader currently accepts up to 100 source files and 1.5 MB of source input; the packaged HTML must fit within 2 MiB. Each creator can keep up to 20 tools.
  • External API requests, remote scripts, form submissions, and embedded frames are restricted in the hosted runner. Bundle required browser assets and test within KitCubby.
  • Python and Java backends, databases for creator applications, server credentials, and arbitrary server execution are not supported in this release.
  • If a tool uses the supported saved-data feature, each signed-in user has separate data for that tool. Do not promise unlimited storage or functionality that KitCubby does not supply.
04

Keep users and their data safe

  • No malware, phishing, stolen credentials, hidden miners, deceptive redirects, or attempts to escape the tool’s sandbox.
  • Do not collect secrets, payment card details, identity documents, or sensitive personal records through a hosted tool. Do not disguise tracking or data collection.
  • Do not publish illegal content, harassment, threats, or material that violates privacy or intellectual-property rights.
  • Tell users what information a tool needs and how it uses or stores that information. Do not claim that KitCubby reviews or certifies the accuracy or security of every tool.
05

Selling and supporting a tool

Complete Stripe seller onboarding with accurate information before publishing a paid tool. Stripe determines account eligibility and payout readiness. Test onboarding does not enable live sales. Do not use another person’s identity or choose an inaccurate business country.

Follow KitCubby’s final Refund policy and honor representations made at purchase. Cooperate when a buyer reports a defect, missing access, or a material difference from the listing. Do not impose a stricter refund rule that conflicts with the platform policy or mandatory law.

[CREATOR FEES, PAYMENT-PROCESSING COSTS, REFUND/CHARGEBACK ALLOCATION, PAYOUT TIMING, AND TAX RESPONSIBILITIES TO BE FINALIZED]. No new fee schedule or debit authorization is established by this draft.

06

Updates, unpublishing, and enforcement

Keep a copy of your original files. Test changes before replacing a published tool, and avoid breaking buyers’ saved data or removing promised functionality without a remedy. Unpublishing a listing stops discovery and new purchases; it is not a way to revoke existing buyers’ access.

We may block a listing or suspend an account when necessary to investigate or address violations. Contact [SUPPORT EMAIL — TO BE CONFIRMED] with the relevant listing and an explanation to request review. Fixing a tool or setting it to published does not automatically remove a moderation block.
